This is a very hard blog to write, physically.
Two of my fingers have been asleep for 3 weeks now.
Left hand...pinky and ring finger.
The doctor said she's pretty sure she knows what's wrong and has put me on prednisone for two weeks to reduce the swelling. I think she's probably right...it's a nerve.
Tomorrow is my follow up apt. She'll let me know then what we will do..I'm so ready to be done with this.
Here is a list of things I can't do because I have no feeling in my fingers:
Type, play the- piano, guitar, or accordion.

could it be carpal tunnel syndrome? I had that, and a very simple surgery cleared it up! It affects mainly the pinky finger, but the ring too, sometimes. Hope you get a solution soon. It's awful to have fingers that don't work. :-(
ReplyDeleteMy doc says she thinks it's a pinched nerve. She's waiting two more weeks and then some pin point testing to find the trigger spot. She said maybe surgery...eek. I think I'd like to try a chiropractor if it's a pinched nerve...hmmm...I'll have to see. Yes. I want my fingers back :)
