A-Z Sam

I started this blog a few months ago.....

My Sam, bought me lunch today.

He came out ahead in the deal but still, he offered and I accepted.

It was his 21st birthday!

To begin with, the whole incident happened because he didn't have cash on him. It wasn't his fault......."she says", because all mom's make excuses for their babies. I'll blame the DMV.

We were at the DMV transferring the title of my car, over to him. If you've ever been to the DMV to do a similar task...you know it's a long drawn out process.

Ivy (daughter #2) informed us that you can't use your cash card at the DMV. After.
You can only use cash or check.  Ivy was right!

Get into the 21st century please DMV!

Sam had to borrow money from me to make the transaction.

My story still stands....My son bought me lunch today.

  1. How Sweet. It's it great when our kids begin to reciprocate the giving? They seem so grown up. What a wonderful day for you and your son!

  2. Yes... I love every minute of having adult children...and letting them be adults. It's the greatest.....hard too....but still great.

  7. That's right Francene. :) He got the money from me...and lunch wasn't even as much as the bill at the DMV....but do I care? Nope...it's all about my son offering to 'go to and then pay the bill' at lunch. I'm happy :)

  8. I can't imagine my daughters all grown up. For now, I'm elated to have them pour a bowl of cereal for me or save the last hershey's kiss for mom. =)

  9. Oh Gina, it will happen, and it will be wonderful! It's really cool to have adult kids...as for the last hershey's kiss, well my vegetarian has now decided her stomach doesn't agree with chocolate either so no problem there, I get it when she's around...my other two....well depends on the mood. lol!
