The Peak Is Still There!

The Peak Is Still There!

Is it weird that I kept looking at Pike's Peak as if
the mountain itself would just somehow disappear?

I would wake up and look out my hotel room window
just to see if it was still there.

The closer we drove, the bigger it got.

It is a part of the Rocky Mountain Range.

You can't drive up it unless you pay $12 per person.

Santa's workshop is just before the entrance to the Pike drive.

The Garden of the God's is somehow neater than Pike's Peak, and it's free.

Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo are all very very close to each other.

Cowboys do exist.

Cowboy songs are better when sung by cowboys.

I like steak made on a real fire-pit grill.

Holiday Inn's shut down if their water heaters break down.

Free Breakfast tastes better.

If you want to see the scenery, don't be the driver.

Go to Colorado. It's really cool.
