what's a kleinke? |
It's a name...my maiden name.
It's pronounced like this~
Klan-key
or
Kline-keh (german)
or
Klink-ee
Or according to my cell phone~
Kah-lee-ink
It's just a name...right?
Here are some childhood nicknames:
Colonel Klink
Klunker
Klineschmidt
Kranky
Can you add more?
I've always adored it personally, but considering my maiden name, there isn't a win-win with either of us, huh? Hahaha, Klin-kee always made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI cannot disclose any nicknames, I'm still healing.
Healing....lol! ha. ha. You crack me up!
ReplyDeletewait...I just re-read your reply,,,,I didn't mean to laugh at your healing,,, I thought it was about MY maiden name..... retraction lol!
DeleteKranky? You must have changed since school.
ReplyDeleteHi again....I replied in the wrong spot...I'll get better at this blog thing. ha ha.
DeleteHi Denny....That one didn't really apply...ha ha. Nice to hear from you. Are you doing the a-z challenge...I'll have to stop by.
ReplyDeleteIn an older generation you would have been a klinker- an unburned piece of coal. The worst they managed to do to my name was Joan the Bone. I'm trying to visit all the A-Z Challenge Blogs this month.
ReplyDeleteThanks Shark! I forgot that one....happy blogging! :)

Ha! My dad's name is KLINEDALE...people have all kinds of trouble with that one. The Kline is German, the Dale was a family name. To make life simpler he goes by KJ (middle name James)
ReplyDeleteGermans are proud of their names....I've noticed. Klinedale sounds a little bit like a breed of dog :)
ReplyDeleteNicknames? Hmm, the real K-link, Klinko, and Krankit.
ReplyDeleteWhat do people call me? Sir...if they want me to respond. lol
Hello Sir. I like K-Link. It makes me sound like a Rapper. lol!
